Rasleen @ 6 months

Today (16/12/07) I hit the 6 month milestone. What have I achieved so far? My weight is 7.6kg, although mommy has yet to measure my height. Estimated at 67-68cm. I can sit up straight without any aids for long periods of time, although I do tend to fall on my side/back/front when I get too tired. I am able to pick up toys and hit/splash the water in the bath tub. I love to talk, sing, blabber, blow raspberries, shriek and giggle! I love it when daddy blows on my tummy!! I growl, too, like a tiger, according to my mommy & daddy. I am moving on to Stage 2 foods. Mommy wants to introduce me to meat soon. Mommy has officially put aside my 3-6 months clothes. We washed all of Jateen's hand-me-downs on Saturday, and soon I will be seen parading in them. Can't wait! Daddy's had a cold over the weekend and passed it on to mommy. I just hope mommy does not pass it to me now!! We will be heading to KL again soon for the festive holidays! Yay!! Yesterday we had tea at Harvin's masi's place. I also attended a Malay wedding yesterday ... the first time I saw a 'kuda kepang' dance. On Saturday, we all went to Vivo city, the biggest shopping mall in Singapore. It was exciting. I saw many babies & toddlers. We went to Toys r Us, and it was chuck-a-block full of people, there were queues everywhere ... to make payment, to get your gift wrapped. I was soooo tired at the end of the trip, I fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Rasleen's journal - 1st & 2nd Dec

Our trip to Penang was fun, fun, fun!! Daddy drove 800 odd kilometres to arrive at our destination ... altho we did have a night's break at grand dad's home in KL:) Anyways, I slept through most of the journey ... was excited when we reached Penang. Met up with all my mommy's Penang uncles & aunts (from Oz & London, too). Everyone wanted to hold me & play with me ... at the end I was sooooooo tired from being passed from one set of hands to another!! :) Worth it, tho. We attended the thanksgiving prayers organised by grandma & grandpa for me ... and great grand daddy's 20th death anniversary prayers (barsi). RIP great grandpa ... I also experienced my first ferry ride ... many more to come, I'm sure!! OK, that's all from me, folks ... watch this space!
